| I recently went to the Edward Hopper exhibition at the Whitney. I was a little disappointed by the show because I was hoping to see this painting, 'Morgensonne' from 1952, which is my favourite Hopper work. There is something serene about this figure as she takes in the morning sun and contemplates the world beyond her bedroom window. |
