As South Sudan became a nation this weekend, I stumbled upon this article in an Australian fashion magazine about a remarkable young Sudanese woman who was a refugee before moving to Melbourne and becoming a model and a high school graduate who wants to study law, while raising her younger siblings (both of their parents have since left Australia and returned to Sudan.
